Shamrock's Celebraton gains attention in the final days before the big event
The Shamrock Animal Fund has received a great deal of attention in the days leading up to Shamrock's Celebration this Saturday March 19th. Co-founders Matt Mulcahy and Jamie Pomilio-Mulcahy have been seen and heard on various media throughout the Central New York region. The Syracuse New Times featured the Shamrock Animal Fund in its issue that just hit newsstands. The article uses a clever title "Heavy Petting" and then interviews some of the key veterinarians who have supported the Shamrock Animal Fund.
Matt did radio interviews with Ted & Amy on 93Q, Jim Reith on 106.9 WSYR, Big Mike on Sunny 102 and Big Jim Donavan on the Clear Channel radio stations. Jamie appeared on Weekend Today in Central New York with Laura Hand on NBC 3.
The television station's where Matt anchors the news have run promotional spots on NBC3, CBS 5 and CW6 in addition to mentions during newscasts. The Syracuse Post-Standard also published an article featuring the three honorees who will be highlighted at Shamrock's Celebration 2011.
