The 5 year old Yorkie developed diabetes and then cataracts that made him functionally blind. Zacky's owners reached out to the Shamrock Animal Fund and got the help they needed to pay for surgery at Cornell University's Veterinary College.

The spring north side Clinics on the Assumption Church campus served 300 pets. Pet owners patiently waited for two hours for their opportunity to have their dog or cat vaccinated, examined and treated by volunteer veterinarians.
The Healthy Pet Clinics served 150 dogs and cats at the 3rd Clinic of the fall season. About two dozen pet owners brought their animals back for booster vaccinations after receiving care at the earlier Clinics at St. Lucy's.
A summertime doggy nuptials raised thousands of dollars for the Shamrock Animal Fund. Helena and Glen Axelrod hosted the garden 'wedding' for Tiger and Sconset. Guests generously donated while enjoying the festivities.
